EIVISSA ANTI PETROLIFERA
Abogados Robles joins this citizen initiative whose main objective is to disseminate the great threat they pose to Ibiza oil exploration and future high-risk extraction in deep waters near our coasts We are people from Eivissa who are opposed to oil exploration projects near the island's coasts, as these have a hugely negative impact on the ecosystem , tourism, fishing and the quality of life of the resident and visiting population. The Scottish oil company Cairn Energy has obtained permits from the national government, published in the BOE on January 22, 2011, to carry out an exploration program in the open and deep sea for 6 years between Eivissa and the Gulf of Valencia in search of of oil. It is enough to inform yourself a little to understand the high degree of aggression to the environment that each phase of this process supposes and the potential dangers that they bring to our economy and society in general.
